Rare 1950s “travel” desk with a top tray and letter holder covered in leather and black faux leather with saddle stitching.

The desk rests on an elegant X-shaped gilt brass base with bamboo-style detailing. A discreet front drawer provides practical storage for writing accessories and documents.

The combination of leather and gilt brass is characteristic of Jacques Adnet’s work.
